Miles was found wandering about with such extreme hair matting over his eyes, that it dried them out and he lost his sight.  His eyes caused him such pain, the decision was made to remove them.  With no adoption prospects, Miles was placed with one of our fosters in the hospice program.

These days, Miles is no longer in pain.  He is attached at the hip to his foster Mom and goes most places with her.  Miles will stay with her for the rest of his life.  

He does suffer from severe allergies and requires medication to keep them in check.  He also goes to the groomer on a regular basis to keep his hair mat free and a manageable length.
