Special Needs: Sam is a very sweet puppy. He does require some 'assistance ' to eat. Right now the only thing I can get him to eat is a 'gruel' made of dry puppy food and pumpkin ground to a liquid. He will only eat if I am standing near him. He takes a few bites, steps over to smell my leg (or lick it) then goes back to his bowl. He will do that throughout his eating.
