A dog walks into a Kmart...
No, really...
Hi! My name is Penny (my foster mom and dad say now that I'm safe and warm, I've shined up like a new penny...hence the name). I literally was found when I walked through the sliding glass door at a Kmart in Tennessee.
I had been on my own for a while, but fortunately for me, I've been saved and now I know what love feels like. Since I was on my own for a while, I tend to be territorial and do not like strangers at first (I will need to be in a home with no children). Once I warm up to you, you've found a best friend for life! I wiggle and jump around and talk to you when you come home and the first thing I go grab is a toy! I LOVE TOYS!!! I am currently working on my housetraining, so you will need to be patient with me and watch for signs that I need to go outside.
If you have a fenced in yard, that would be great! I love to just run and play (I'm still such a puppy at one year old).
Oh! Someone said Christmas is coming (this might be my very first one!). It sounds really nice and this year, instead of walking through the doors of a Kmart, I'd really, really like to walk through the doors of my new home (and your open arms).
Will you please give me a chance to love you?
