Meet Baby Bruno! Bruno is a one year old Affenpinscher, or Affenpinscher mix. His vet thinks he is all Affenpinscher, but found as a stray, we cannot be sure. The vet puts Bruno’s age right at 1, and he is very playful, like a puppy. Bruno is housebroken, and had to hold it for 9 hours while I was out today. Bruno currently weighs just 11 pounds, but should gain another two pounds to be at a healthier weight. Bruno loves toys: the squeekier, the better! He loves to play with my resident dogs. Bruno first befriended my 10 year old shepherd-pyranese mix, but has learned my old guy just doesn’t have the energy to play with him, at least not as long as my 3 year old chihuahua! They play tug-of-war, and chew on squeeky toys in chorus together. Baby Bruno is not at all food or toy agressive, and likes the cats, too. Bruno helps round up the horses, and comes back in the house when called. Bruno also walks well on a leash, and does best when using his harness. Bruno did so well at his vet visit! He is now neutered, fully vaccinated, tested heartworm negative, and is on heartguard pills. He is a sweetie, and loves kids! Bruno is also housebroken, and will “dance” on his hind legs for a treat. His underbite smile steals your heart! Bruno would love a home where he either gets lots of attention from his humans, or where he has another dog who loves to play with him.
