Sweet Miley is a hospice foster. She came into the rescue as a senior with advanced kidney disease.  She has surprised all of us with how well she is doing with a special kidney friendly diet and a loving foster home.  

Since Miley is a basenji, she acts a lot like a big cat!  She is very quiet (never barks) and spends hours each day curled up in one of the doggie beds in her foster home.  One of her nicknames is "Ninja Cat Dog" due to her stealth and feline ways.  

She gets along with her foster dog and cat siblings.  Her foster family adores her and considers it an honor to provide Miley with a forever home for the rest of her days.
