Meet Ruby!  This sweet little girl just turned 1  at the end of 2023.  She is a puppy mill survivor that was lucky enough to get out before she was forced to have litter after litter of puppies.   

Because of her lack of early socialization in the puppy mill, Ruby is still shy and not 100% sure of humans.  She does not always come when called, but she LOVES to sit on the couch or your bed, snuggle up and go to sleep.  She is especially fond of sitting on soft cushions!

Ruby is still learning it is ok to walk on a leash.  She is making progress with her house breaking.  She has a foster dog brother who is helping her learn!  She also is quite playful with him and makes a game out of stealing his toys!  She enjoys playing in her foster Mom’s fenced yard.

 Ruby needs a loving patient forever parent to help her live her best possible life.  She needs a fenced yard to play in and a home without small children.  A calm environment is important for Ruby.  She makes progress everyday and will continue to do so in a loving home.
