Meet Scrappy!

This sweet and sensitive long haired terrier mix is one of the 6 dogs rescued from living outside on 12/3 by Frankie’s Furry Friends.  He weighs 14.5 lbs and is estimated to be around 5 years old.  He is neutered.

Scrappy is a loving dog who just wants to be near his person.  He follows me from room to room as I go about my day.  Scrappy would thrive where someone is often home or he can be out and about with you.  He is being fostered with 2 small senior dogs and 2 cats.  He does very well with them.  He is shy at first, but warms up to kind people.  

Scrappy seems to be housebroken and has likely lived inside at one point in his life.  We had a couple instances of him lifting a leg inside when he first arrived, but that has stopped.   Other than that, he has gone outside to go potty.

He loves going for walks and does well on a leash.  He is not a fan of being crated and sleeps at the foot of my bed.  With time and love, he may be happy sleeping on a nice dog bed in your bedroom.  He has shown no food aggression.  He likes having a few toys.  He is not a barker.  He stays quiet even when my two are yapping their heads off!!  He is a super special boy who will love his person so much.
