Bella is a playful, affectionate Dachshund female about ten years old, weighing nineteen pounds with all the attributes of her breed.  She is very comfortable whether nestling with her person or playing with other dogs and children.  Bella is indifferent to cats as observed.  She is house broken and alerts when she needs to go outside.  She sleeps soundly through the night.

She really enjoys walks and is comfortable with the leash, obeys well and is most inquisitive of her surroundings hoping her walking buddy will let her investigate interesting places.  Bella does not snap or bite and only barks when necessary to alert about new people or animals arriving.  Her coat is shiny and does not shed.

Bella enjoys morning treats and has become accustomed to Beneful or Rachel Ray small bites with a spoon or two of Abound or Blue canned food mixed in served about 4:00 p.m..  She appreciates a crunchy evening snack.

This little girl bonds quickly and responds positively to affection.  She would make a great companion for the single person or a welcome addition to any family.
