Daisy (30 lb. hound mix less than 2 years old) is housetrained and fine in the crate though would much rather snuggle with you at night! Daisy is an incredibly affectionate and loving sweetheart who just wants to be loved on.  She is good with kids and adults even strangers on our walks, and is good with other dogs too. This hound dog can allow her nose to get her into trouble and will require a fenced in yard since she loves to explore and is likely to run away! We've been working on leash training, but if she sees another dog  across the street she wants to run and meet it,  so I don't know if she'll ever be good off leash. She is very food motivated so training  is certainly possible but will take a lot of patience and consistency. But that's her only negative- Daisy has been a pleasure to have in our home.
