Dear people looking for a forever dog, 
I'm Granite and I am looking for a forever home! The last family I had had too many dogs and couldn't afford to feed us all or take us to the vet so someone came and took a lot of us to a shelter. The shelter was very noisy and a little scary for most of us. Once we got to our foster moms house it was much quieter and we all like it here. I come across alittle shy but that is just until I get to smell you really good after you sit down. Then I will get up in your lap and rub myself all over you and love you (and want you to love me) a bunch. I will want to protect you and the rest of the family from strangers. I may not be big but I will alert you when someone is around who shouldn't be. Will you love me? I know I can love you!
